The world still has much for the gentleman adventurer to discover. Pall Mall Club stands for the romance and gentlemanly adventure of travel to faraway places.
Pall Mall Club brings you links for accommodation, travel advice, myths and legends in Ohio, USA.
Ohio is not noted as a tourist attraction but there are places worth seeing. There are the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland and Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden in, of course, Cincinnati. As far as folklore goes, Ohio was one of the haunts of that real nurseryman and Swedenborgian missionary, Johnny Appleseed (real name John Chapman).
Wildlife has made a comeback in the state and there are white-tailed deer, beavers, bald eagles and even a few black bears. The state is a good place to see the annual warbler migration. Ohio is home to Wayne National Forest.
